DR. ALISHA BRUHL, PT, DPT, CSCS
PHYSICAL THERAPIST, OWNER
RUNNING GAIT SPECIALIST
Alisha earned her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science then continued to achieve her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Toledo. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. In February 2014, Alisha opened Elite Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy with the goal to provide the Toledo area with a unique and highly effective approach to physical therapy.
Alisha specializes in treating endurance athletes, but has experience in treating a wide variety of injuries. In just over a year, Alisha has developed Elite’s physical therapy and injury prevention programs adding other specialties such as corporate wellness and performing arts. Elite is becoming well known to the community in the area of fitness and sports performance. Alisha has been invited as a guest speaker at several events and on local radio as an expert in health and wellness. She is also a proud sponsor of Team Elite, a triathlon team that is geared towards promoting an engaged and active community.
DR. OLIVIA TERRELL, PT, DPT, CSCS
PERFORMING ARTS SPECIALIST
Olivia received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Akron and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Toledo. In addition, Olivia is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, its Orthopedic Section, and the Performing Arts Special Interest Group.
Olivia has been a dance instructor in Ohio since 2007 teaching at both competition studios and pre-professional ballet studios. She primarily teaches ballet and pointe and has taught private lessons to award winning students and prepared students for the Youth America Grand Prix international ballet competition. Olivia also has experience with contemporary, modern, jazz, and lyrical dance. Olivia had danced for over 15 years and realizes the demand placed on the performing artist’s body as well as the desire to continue to pursue one’s passion. She has experience working with dancers, gymnasts, and figure skaters.
Her goal is to provide performing arts specific and effective physical therapy treatment to that population in the Toledo, OH area. She also strives to address the injury risk factors associated to the extreme demands of performing arts related movements and activities.
DR. KATIE VARGA, PT, DPT
Katie began her physical therapy career as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2008. In 2011, she obtained her bachelor’s degree at Lourdes College majoring in interdisciplinary studies with concentrations in natural science and humanities. In 2015, she achieved her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Findlay.
